Building Something Great
In times of confusion and uncertainty, men of faith must rise. Building on a legacy of community
activism and spiritual strength, we come together to ask: What can we do — right here in Kentucky —
to move our families and neighborhoods forward? "When the world feels like it's going backward,
men of faith must step up, speak up, and build something that endures."
This event centers men across Kentucky — because when men of faith stand together, families
grow stronger, communities heal, and real change becomes possible. This is a FREE event, no registration required.

51st Anniversary & Historical Marker Presentation
We have a very special program planned for our 51st Anniversary! Shelby Congregational Methodist Church is honored to invite you to a special gathering honoring the life and legacy of Daisy Saffell and the unveiling of a new historic marker recognizing the hospital that once bore her name. That very hospital building now serves as our church home, and we are excited to share its powerful story with the community.
Join us as we learn more about Daisy Saffell’s contributions, the history of healthcare in Shelby County, and the ways her legacy continues to inspire. All are welcome!
